This policy will be based on the class policy: Be Prepared, Be Respectful, Work Hard. If a student receives a grounded slip, they will be grounded for 2 days. Each slip will let them know which class rule was broken. Being grounded means to lose class privileges such as leaving class (not including being called by the office or nurse), bathroom breaks, leaving desk, or using netbooks. More than one offense may occur at a time, which means for each slip received, 2 days will be added.
To become ungrounded, students will have to have the slip signed by a parent or guardian or serve out the days issued. Students cannot plea their case, but students will have one warning before a Grounded
slip is given. Any student who ignores their grounded status and continues to misbehave will be permanently grounded for the rest of the quarter, as well as be written up and have contact with parents/guardians. Any questions, contact Mr. Landry
Yenom Rewards!
For those students who are working hard, and showing great work - there are Yenom! Yenom are black and white beans given as rewards to let students know their efforts and behavior are appreciated. Yenom can be then placed into the students Knab account, which each student is given. Yenom can be traded in for prizes & special privileges.
